Responsibilities:
- Design or process modification based on the request from Production, Quality, ME or TE for approval from customer.
- Participate to the discussion with customer on quality issue relating to design or component.
- Aggressively pursue new quality initiatives as well as maintaining a high quality level. Ensure delivery of product is timely and meet the customers¡¦ quality expectations.
- Define & review department strategy, objectives, working scope & routine activities.
- Sustain products and material with cost reduction, yield and quality improvements by interfacing with other engineering, functional disciplines or suppliers to solve problems.
Requirements:
- University degree from a good local University or overseas institution in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years in product engineering and manufacturing management of electronics assemblies.
- Solid experience in local PRC manufacturing firm.
- Exposure to carry out ISO 9001 and/or TQM implementation would be an advantage.
- Detail-minded person with a strong personality to force change and lead various teams.
- Fluency in English, Putonghua & Cantonese.
- Creativity, innovation, and the personal flexibility to respond to emerging realities

Job description:
1. Ensure compliance of local laws and regulations and our internal policy of all our products (whether manufactured locally or imported from mainland or any other places).
- Checking product formulation, packaging and label
- Provide regulatory consultation services to other functional units.
2. Follow-up on Food Legislation activities, keep close connection with relevant Government authorities such as the Food Environment and Hygiene Department and the Centre for Food Safety.
- Actively involved in the establishment reviewing of food regulations.
- Handle special application and registration (e.g. additives)
3. Assist on handling of controversial regulatory issues.
Qualification:
- Good education with bachelor degree or above, majored in food related science or relevant filed.
- Min. 2 years working experience in food industry or familiar with food regulation
- Good Communication skill
- Proactive and responsible attitude, persistent and detail minded personality is required
- Good command of English
